Individuals who worked for ITS Technologies & Logistics LLC in Illinois and used a partial handprint or fingerprint scan timeclock between Sept. 8, 2017, and Aug. 29, 2024, may be eligible to receive approximately $964.48 from a class action settlement.
ITS Technologies & Logistics LLC agreed to pay $925,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it violated the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act by collecting, capturing or obtaining employees’ biometric data, such as partial handprints or fingerprints, without providing required written disclosures or obtaining written consent.
Who can file a claim?
Class members are all individuals in the state of Illinois whom ITS Technologies & Logistics employed and collected, captured or obtained their partial handprint, fingerprint or other biometric information at any time between Sept. 8, 2017, and Aug. 29, 2024.
How much are settlement payments?
Cash payment: Eligible class members can submit a claim to receive a cash payment from the net settlement fund estimated at $964.68
How to claim a class action rebate
To receive a settlement payment, class members can complete the claim form received with their notice or print and complete the PDF claim form and mail it to the settlement administrator.

When is the ITS Technologies & Logistics BIPA settlement payout date?
The settlement administrator will mail payments to approved claimants approximately 75 days after the court grants final approval of the settlement.

The class action lawsuit alleged ITS Technologies & Logistics LLC collected, captured or obtained employees’ biometric information without providing the written disclosures or obtaining the written consent required by the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act.
The company denies any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the expense and risk of continued litigation.
