
Individuals who visited www.waxcenter.com at any time from June 30, 2023, to April 2, 2026, may be eligible to claim up to $10 from a class action settlement.
European Wax Center Inc. agreed to pay $5 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it disclosed website visitor information to third parties through pixels, cookies, code and/or tracking or analytics tools on its website without users’ permission.
Who can file a claim?
The settlement class includes all U.S. residents who visited www.waxcenter.com between June 30, 2023, and April 2, 2026. There is no requirement to have made a purchase or completed a booking; simply visiting the website is sufficient.
How much can class members get?
Pro rata payment: Eligible class members who submit a valid claim form can receive a cash payment of up to $10. The settlement fund is $5,000,000, which the settlement administrator will use to pay attorneys’ fees and expenses, service awards and administration costs before it distributes payments to class members. If the total value of all approved claims exceeds the amount available for distribution, the settlement administrator will reduce each payment on a pro rata basis.
How to claim a class action settlement payment
Class members can submit an online claim form or download and print the PDF claim form, fill it out and mail it to the settlement administrator. The claim deadline is June 30, 2026.

Required information
The claim form requires the class member's name, address, contact information, the IP address used to access www.waxcenter.com during the class period and the dates they accessed the site. Class members must also affirm they did not use privacy tools (such as the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, cookie blockers or private browsing modes) when visiting the site.
Online claimants must provide the class member ID, located in the top left corner of the emailed notice they received, to log in to submit a claim.

$5 million settlement fund breakdown

When is the European Wax Center settlement payout date?

Why did this class action settlement happen?
The class action lawsuit alleged European Wax Center Inc. disclosed website visitor information to third parties through tracking technologies without user consent. The plaintiffs claimed this conduct violated federal and state privacy laws, including the Electronic Communication Privacy Act, the Florida Security of Communications Act and the California Invasion of Privacy Act.
European Wax Center Inc. denies any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the risks and costs of further litigation.
