Why did this class action settlement happen?
The class action lawsuit alleged that Quadrant Technologies LLC violated Washington law by posting job openings in the state without including required information about pay and benefits. The plaintiff claimed the company filed to disclose the wage scale or salary range and a general description of benefits and other compensation in its job postings, as required by RCW 49.58.110.
Quadrant Technologies denies any wrongdoing, however agreed to settle to avoid the risk and expense of further litigation.
