Employees of Chateau Nursing and Rehabilitation Center LLC who used a finger-scan timekeeping system between Feb. 6, 2019, and May 22, 2023, may qualify to receive a cash payment from a class action settlement.

How much is the biometric privacy payout?

Pro Rata Payment: Class members who do not opt out of the settlement will receive an equal share of the settlement fund. The estimated net payment per class member is $300-$400 with a maximum of $650. The final payment amount depends on the total number of valid class members and other settlement costs.

No claim form required

Class members do not need to file a claim to receive payment. The settlement administrator already has the information needed to identify class members.

Class members whose addresses have changed should contact the settlement administrator as soon as possible to provide updated information.

When is the biometric privacy settlement payout date?

The settlement administrator will mail checks approximately 30 days after the final approval order becomes final and non-appealable.
