What Happened?
On or about Dec. 12, 2024, MedRevenu experienced a ransomware attack by the BianLian group. The incident led to a network disruption and unauthorized access to sensitive files.
The breach was posted on the dark web on Dec. 14, 2024, with hackers claiming to have obtained financial records, patient information, emails and other confidential data. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that files containing personal information of Inland Physicians Hospitalist Services’ patients were compromised.
The breach was disclosed to the California Attorney General’s office on Feb. 3, 2026.
