Ubeo Data Breach: SSNs and Driver's License Information Compromised

Ubeo Midco LLC, a corporate entity within the Ubeo group of companies, disclosed a data breach involving sensitive personal information. Ubeo is a U.S.-based business technology and document management company headquartered in San Antonio, Texas.

Ubeo provided very limited details about the incident in its notification to affected consumers. The company directed recipients to call a dedicated assistance line for additional information about what occurred.

The types of personal information exposed in the breach included names, Social Security numbers, addresses, driver's license numbers, medical information and health insurance information.

The total number of individuals affected across the United States was 3,845 including 1,701 residents of Texas and 86 residents of Massachusetts were impacted. The company additionally disclosed the breach to the Vermont Attorney General and mailed notification letters to affected consumers on June 12, 2026.

Ubeo's response to the breach

Ubeo is offering 24 months of complimentary single-bureau credit monitoring and fraud assistance through Cyberscout.

To enroll, individuals can visit the Cyberscout activation page and enter the unique code that was included in their personal notification letter. Enrollment must be completed within 90 days of the date of the letter.

Ubeo also established a dedicated assistance line for individuals with questions about the incident. The line is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday, excluding major U.S. holidays. The phone number was included in the individual notification letters sent to affected consumers.
