
Stanley Pearlman Enterprises Inc., a Jessup, Maryland-based seafood wholesaler and distributor, has disclosed a data breach involving a wide range of sensitive personal information.
The breach was disclosed to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on June 17, 2026. The company also posted a notice on its website regarding the incident.
The company mailed notification letters to affected individuals on June 17, 2026.
The types of personally identifiable information (PII) exposed included Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, financial account information, payment card information, passport numbers, usernames and passwords, and employer ID numbers.
The breach also involved protected health information (PHI), including medical information, biometric data and health insurance information.
Stanley Pearlman Enterprises is offering affected individuals 24 months of free credit monitoring and identity theft protection services through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company.
To enroll, affected individuals can visit the Cyberscout enrollment page and enter the unique code provided in their notification letter. Enrollment must be completed within 90 days of the date of the letter.
The company has set up a dedicated assistance line for affected individuals, available between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. EST, excluding U.S. holidays. The phone number for this line is included in individual notification letters.
