Pan-American Life Insurance Company, a leading provider of life, accident and health insurance across the United States, experienced a data breach compromising both personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI). The total number of affected individuals has not been publicly disclosed, but may include several thousand consumers.

Exposed information included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, medical information and health insurance information. The scope of the exposed information suggests the breach could have significant consequences for those affected, as both personal and medical details were involved, which can lead to identity theft and fraud.

The cybersecurity incident was disclosed to the Texas Attorney General's office on Oct. 30, 2025, reporting at least 564 residents impacted.
