Oak View Group LLC, a global sports and live entertainment company headquartered in Denver, Colorado, disclosed a data breach involving unauthorized access to its computer systems.
On Jan. 19, 2026, Oak View Group discovered that an unauthorized third party had gained access to a subset of the company's legacy computer systems.
An investigation into the incident determined that the unauthorized access first began on Dec. 16, 2025, meaning the intruder had access to OVG's systems for a span of roughly 34 days before the breach was detected.
During that window, the unauthorized party leveraged its access to remove certain files from OVG's network. The personal information contained in those files included names, Social Security numbers and tax identification numbers.
The breach affected personal information OVG had collected from contractors and vendors who performed work at its managed venues. So far, 335 Massachusetts residents were identified as affected. The company mailed notification letters to affected individuals on June 12, 2026.
Oak View Group is offering all affected individuals two years of complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services. The services are provided through Cyberscout and include credit monitoring, fraud consultation and identity theft restoration.
Individuals who received a notification letter can activate their services by visiting Cyberscout's enrollment page and entering the unique membership number included in their letter. The enrollment deadline is Sept. 12, 2026.
Oak View Group has also established a dedicated call center for anyone with questions about the incident. Affected individuals can call 1-844-507-4260 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday, excluding major U.S. holidays.
