Monumental Sports & Entertainment, which operates under the legal name Lincoln Holdings LLC, disclosed a data breach that occurred in December 2025 and affected 10,282 individuals in the United States.

On Dec. 9, 2025, Monumental Sports & Entertainment detected unusual activity on certain of its systems.

An investigation determined that an external party gained unauthorized access to the company's systems and removed copies of some data between Dec. 8 and 9, 2025. Following the detection, the company conducted a technical analysis of the impacted systems and reviewed the affected data to identify individuals whose personal information may have been involved.

The specific types of personal information compromised have not been publicly disclosed. The data elements varied by individual, with each affected person's letter listing the specific types of their information that may have been taken.

The breach was reported to the Maine Attorney General on April 27, 2026. The company discovered the breach on April 7, 2026, and began notifying affected consumers in writing on April 28, 2026.

Monumental Sports & Entertainment's response to the breach

Monumental Sports & Entertainment is offering 24 months of complimentary identity monitoring services through Kroll. These services include single bureau credit monitoring, fraud consultation and identity theft restoration.

Affected individuals can enroll by visiting the Kroll enrollment page and entering the membership number included in their notification letter.

The company has also set up a dedicated toll-free phone line at 844-403-4609 for individuals with questions about the incident. The line is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time, excluding major U.S. holidays.

  • Place a fraud alert or credit freeze with Equifax at 1-800-525-6285, Experian at 1-888-397-3742 and TransUnion at 1-800-680-7289 to help prevent unauthorized accounts from being opened.
  • Request free credit reports at AnnualCreditReport.com and review them carefully for any unfamiliar accounts or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor financial account statements closely and contact financial institutions right away if any unauthorized transactions or unfamiliar charges appear.
  • Be cautious of phishing attempts that reference Monumental Sports & Entertainment or this breach by name, as scammers may try to use the situation to collect additional personal information.
  • Report suspected identity theft to the Federal Trade Commission at 1-877-382-4357, visit www.ftc.gov for additional guidance, or review your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
