
Minnesota ENT, whose legal name is Oakdale Ear Nose & Throat PA, has disclosed a data breach involving unauthorized access to employee email accounts.
The breach was reported to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on Aug. 12, 2026. Minnesota ENT has posted a notice about the incident on its website.
Minnesota ENT detected unauthorized access to six of its employee email accounts. After discovering the unauthorized access, the company worked to determine the scope and impact of the incident.
On July 15, 2026, the company's investigation determined that files within the compromised email accounts may have contained personal information belonging to individuals.
The exposed data included both personally identifiable information and protected health information. The information that may have been compromised included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account information, medical information and health insurance information.
The company mailed notification letters to affected individuals on Aug. 12, 2026. The total number of individuals affected across the United States has not been publicly disclosed.
Minnesota ENT is providing affected individuals with complimentary access to Experian IdentityWorks credit monitoring services.
