
Joyal Capital Management LLC, a financial planning and investment management firm based in Plymouth, Massachusetts, disclosed a data breach that impacted 2,441 residents of Massachusetts, 57 of Indiana, 45 of New Hampshire and 3 of Vermont.
The breach took place on Jan. 27, 2026. It was not until April 22, 2026, when the company discovered the breach.
The types of personal information exposed in the breach included names, Social Security numbers, driver's license or state identification card numbers, financial account information, credit and debit account numbers and financial account codes.
The company began notifying affected consumers by written notice on May 29, 2026.
Joyal Financial Management Group arranged for each affected individual to receive a complimentary two-year membership with Epiq Privacy Solutions, an identity protection service.
To enroll, affected individuals should visit www.privacysolutionsid.com, click "Activate Account" and enter the activation code provided in their notification letter. After completing the enrollment form and identity verification, members will receive a confirmation email with a link to access their account. For questions about enrollment, individuals can call 866-675-2006, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time.
The company also set up a dedicated phone line at 888-616-9514 for questions about the incident. The line is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern time, excluding major U.S. holidays.
