
Integer Precision Technologies LLC, a medical device coatings company based in Hudson, Massachusetts, has disclosed a data breach dating to December 2025 that involved unauthorized access to a cloud-based file sharing application. The company operates under the name Precision Coating and serves global healthcare and medical device companies.
The breach was reported to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on Aug. 11, 2026. Consumer notification letters were dated the same day.
Precision became aware of a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to a SaaS application. The application was used as a file share and collaboration tool by a limited segment of the company's business.
The company's investigation found that, beginning on or around Dec. 12, 2025, an unauthorized third party gained access to the application and obtained certain files stored within it. Precision conducted a review of the affected data with the assistance of a third-party e-discovery provider to determine which individuals' information was contained in the compromised files.
The breach involved a wide range of sensitive personal information including names, postal addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and dates of birth. The breach also exposed more sensitive types of information, including driver's license numbers, passport numbers, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers and limited health-related information.
Precision is offering affected individuals 24 months of complimentary identity protection and credit monitoring services through Experian IdentityWorks.
Affected individuals can enroll by visiting the Experian IdentityWorks enrollment page and entering the unique activation code included in their notification letter. The deadline to enroll is Oct. 31, 2026.
