Edenred Pay (legally known as GlobalvCard LLC) disclosed a data breach that may have exposed sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers.

Edenred Pay is a corporate payments company headquartered in Bonita Springs, Florida, that operates as a U.S. subsidiary of the Edenred group. The company specializes in virtual card payment solutions, accounts payable automation and other business-to-business payment services.

The breach was disclosed to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on Sept. 15, 2026.

The notification did not include a timeline for the incident, such as when the breach occurred, when it was discovered or when the company determined that personal information had been affected.

The types of personal information exposed in the breach included names, mailing addresses and Social Security numbers.

Edenred Pay's response to the breach

The company is offering affected individuals two years of credit monitoring services at no charge through Cyberscout.

Affected individuals can enroll in the free monitoring services by visiting the Cyberscout activation page and entering the unique code provided in their notification letter. Enrollment must be completed within 90 days from the date of the letter.
