Gallivan, Gallivan and O'Melia LLC, operating as Digital WarRoom, recently experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive personal information like Social Security numbers.

The incident was reported to the Massachusetts Attorney General office on Oct. 24, 2025. According to the disclosure, the breach originated from unauthorized access to Digital WarRoom’s IT network, resulting in the copying of certain data by an external actor on or around May 13, 2025.

A ransomware group known as SAFEPAY claimed responsibility for the attack, stating on a dark web forum that they had obtained 500 GB of organizational data. The breach was first publicized on the dark web on June 3, 2025.

The severity of the breach is underscored by the nature of the attack, a ransomware event involving data exfiltration, and the exposure of Social Security numbers, which can be used for identity theft or fraud.
