Allergy Centers Data Breach Compromises Social Security Numbers

Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Care Center, doing business as Allergy, Asthma and Food Allergy Centers, disclosed a data breach that may have exposed patient information.

The breach originated with Rosch Visionary Systems Inc., a software vendor that provides technology services for allergy medical practices, including Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Care Center.

Rosch Visionary Systems Inc. detected a compromise to a portion of its network. The compromise could have affected the personal or health information of patients whose data was stored in Rosch's systems.

The notification did not include specific dates for when the network compromise occurred or when it was first detected. It also did not describe the specific method of the attack.

The types of information exposed included Social Security numbers and medical records.

The breach was reported to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on Sept. 11, 2026.

Allergy, Asthma and Food Allergy Centers' response to the breach

Rosch is offering 24 months of free credit monitoring services to affected individuals. The company is also offering proactive fraud assistance to help with questions or in the event that someone becomes a victim of fraud.

To enroll, affected individuals must use the unique code included in their notification letter and sign up within 90 days of the date of the letter.

Rosch has also set up a dedicated phone line for individuals who have questions about the incident. The phone line is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, excluding major U.S. holidays. The company's mailing address is 1601 11th Ave. Suite 102, Altoona, PA 16601.

The notification encouraged affected individuals to remain vigilant, monitor their accounts and report any suspicious activity or suspected misuse of their personal information.
