Patients of Main Line Fertility Ltd. and/or Main Line Fertility Center Inc. who had a patient portal account as of Feb. 5, 2025, may be eligible to claim a $35 payment and a subscription to CyEx’s Privacy Shield Pro from a class action settlement.

Main Line Fertility Ltd. and Main Line Fertility Center Inc. agreed to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it deployed tracking, analytics and advertising technologies on their public website without patient consent and in violation of certain laws.

Who can file a claim?

The settlement class includes any patient of Main Line Fertility Ltd. and/or Main Line Fertility Center Inc., collectively doing business as Main Line Fertility, who had a patient portal account with Main Line Fertility as of Feb. 5, 2025.

How much is the Main Line Fertility payout?

Each eligible class member who submits a valid claim form can receive a cash payment of $35. In addition, all class members will automatically receive a code to enroll in the Privacy Shield Pro product regardless of whether they submit a claim for the cash payment.

How to claim a class action payment

Class members can file a claim online or download, print and complete the PDF claim form and mail it to the settlement administrator.

What proof or documentation is required to submit a claim?

To file an online claim, class members must log in with the class member ID and password located on the settlement notice they received. Those who are unable to locate their ID and password should contact the settlement administrator by emailing info@MLFSettlement.com and providing their full name and mailing address.

Class members will automatically receive a code to enroll in CyEx’s Privacy Shield Pro. They will receive enrollment instructions in a separate email if the settlement becomes effective.

Settlement fund breakdown

The settlement fund includes:

Settlement administration costs: To be determined
Attorneys' fees, costs and expenses: Up to $300,000
Class representative incentive award: $3,500
Privacy monitoring costs: Dependent on number of valid claims
Payments to eligible class members: $35 per valid claim

When is the Main Line Fertility settlement payout date?

The settlement administrator will distribute payments approximately 30 days after the court approves the settlement at the final approval hearing and resolves any appeals.
