Mercurys Madness $450,000 Labor Class Action Settlement

Employment seekers who applied for a job with Mercurys Madness Inc. in Washington state between Jan. 1, 2023, and Aug. 10, 2026, may be eligible to receive an estimated cash payment of $73.31 from a class action settlement.

Mercurys Madness agreed to pay $450,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging its job postings in Washington failed to include required wage scales, salary ranges or general descriptions of benefits as mandated by state law.

Who are the class members?

Eligible class members must fit the following criteria:

• They applied for a job opening with Mercurys Madness in Washington state.
• They submitted an application between Jan. 1, 2023, and Aug. 10, 2026.
• The job posting for the position did not disclose the wage scale or salary range and/or a general description of benefits and other compensation.

How much can class members get?

Cash payment: Eligible class members will receive an equal share of the net settlement fund. The estimated payment per class member is $73.31. After deducting attorneys’ fees, a service award for the class representative and administrative costs from the total settlement fund, the settlement administrator will determine the final payment amount based on the number of eligible class members.

No action needed to receive compensation

Class members do not need to file a claim to receive their payment. The settlement administrator already has the information to determine eligibility and will automatically mail payments to eligible class members.

Class members can submit a payment selection and/or address update online using the login ID and PIN from their settlement notice or print the PDF address update form to complete and mail to the settlement administrator.

When is the Mercurys Madness settlement payout date?

The settlement administrator will issue payments to eligible class members after the court resolves any appeals and grants final approval of the settlement.

Why is there a class action settlement?

The class action lawsuit alleged Mercurys Madness failed to include required wage and benefit information in its job postings, violating Washington law (RCW 49.58.110).

The company denied any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the costs and delays of ongoing litigation.
