About ZenPatient, Inc.

ZenPatient, Inc. is a digital health and telehealth software company based in Santa Monica, California. The company specializes in building branded, direct-to-consumer healthcare platforms for providers, pharmacies and related services.

ZenPatient offers a suite of tools that allow healthcare organizations to launch telemedicine, e-commerce, patient messaging and pharmacy fulfillment services without developing their own software. ZenPatient partners with pharmacies to facilitate medication delivery for both human and veterinary clients.

What Happened?

ZenPatient discovered suspicious activity within its network on or around Feb. 27, 2026. After a thorough investigation with third-party cybersecurity and data privacy specialists, it was determined that an unauthorized actor accessed or copied certain ZenPatient data between Dec. 5, 2025, and Feb. 12, 2026. The company completed its review of the impacted data on or about July 1, 2026, and began notifying affected individuals shortly after.

ZenPatient stated that, as of the date of notification, they are not aware of any actual or attempted misuse of the data. However, out of an abundance of caution, they are offering affected individuals 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services through Experian.

Your Rights and Next Steps

If you received a notice from ZenPatient, Inc. regarding this data breach, you have several important options and rights:

  • Enroll in Free Credit Monitoring: ZenPatient is offering 12 months of complimentary Experian IdentityWorks membership, which includes credit monitoring, identity restoration assistance and up to $1 million in identity theft insurance. Enrollment instructions and activation codes are included in the notification letter.
  • Monitor Your Accounts: Regularly review your bank, credit card and other financial statements for suspicious activity. You are entitled to one free credit report annually from each of the three major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian and TransUnion).
  • Place Fraud Alerts or Credit Freezes: You can place a fraud alert or credit freeze on your credit files at no cost. A fraud alert makes it harder for identity thieves to open accounts in your name, while a credit freeze restricts access to your credit report entirely.
  • Report Identity Theft: If you suspect your information has been misused, file a report with the Federal Trade Commission and consider contacting local law enforcement.
  • Stay Informed: Keep all correspondence from ZenPatient and Experian. Follow up promptly if you notice any suspicious activity or receive unfamiliar communications referencing your personal information.

Lawyers are ready to help you understand your rights and determine if you are eligible for compensation as a result of this data breach.
