What happened?
On June 28, 2025, With Intelligence Limited learned of a security incident involving PeopleCheck, a third-party supplier that conducts background checks and employee screening. Threat actors accessed the personal data of candidates by exploiting compromised login credentials at PeopleCheck. The affected data was processed between June 2024 and June 2025.
On July 7, 2025, PeopleCheck notified With Intelligence Limited that data processed on their behalf may have been impacted. By July 11, 2025, it was confirmed that sensitive information had been accessed. The breach was officially disclosed to the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office on July 18, 2025.
