What happened?

On or around March 21, 2025, Victor A. Campanile Insurance Agency detected suspicious activity in one of its email accounts. A forensic investigation revealed that two email accounts were potentially accessed by an unauthorized actor.

By Sept. 5, 2025, the agency finished its review and determined that sensitive customer data may have been compromised in the data breach. VAC began notifying affected individuals by mail on Sept. 24, 2025.

  • Credit or debit card number
  • Medical information

The cybersecurity incident was also reported to the Massachusetts Attorney General's office on Sept. 26, 2025.
