What Happened?

On or around Sept. 15, 2025, Valley Radiology Consultants Medical Group detected suspicious activity on its computer systems. The company immediately secured its systems and brought in a third-party cybersecurity firm to investigate. The forensic investigation determined that certain files, including patient files, were accessed by an unauthorized actor.

Valley Radiology finalized the list of individuals to notify on Feb. 18, 2026.

While Valley Radiology states there is no evidence of misuse of sensitive information at this time, they are notifying affected individuals out of an abundance of caution and for transparency.

The breach was reported to the California Attorney General’s office on March 2, 2026.
