What Happened?
On Jan. 15, 2026, Tulane University Medical Group reported a data breach to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The breach, which was caused by a ransomware attack claimed by the CL0P Ransomware group, was posted on the dark web on Nov. 18, 2025. The incident was linked to the Tor network and affected a reported 6,530 individuals in the United States.
