On Jan. 19, 2026, The Shubert Organization experienced a data breach involving its Telecharge ticketing website. An unknown cyber actor performed a brute force attack, gaining unauthorized access to certain Telecharge accounts.
After discovering the incident, the company took steps to secure the website and launched a thorough investigation to determine the scope of the breach.
The company completed its review and determined that some user accounts may have been accessed without authorization. Impacted users were notified, and their Telecharge accounts were deactivated as a precaution.
The breach was reported to the California Attorney General's office on March 20, 2026.
