What happened?

In May 2025, The Bortolazzo Group was impacted by a major data security incident. The breach was first detected on May 22, 2025, when unusual activity was discovered in the IT environment managed by ApolloMD Business Services LLC, which provides administrative services to affiliated physician practices including The Bortolazzo Group.

A cybercriminal accessed the computer network between May 22 and May 23, 2025. Files containing patient information were potentially accessed or acquired. Both personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI) were compromised.

ApolloMD began notifying affected patients by mail on Sept. 17, 2025.
