What happened?

In April 2025, Southern Immediate Care discovered unusual activity within an employee’s email account. By April 15, 2025, an investigation determined that two employee mailboxes had been accessed without authorization. Patient data from these mailboxes could have been downloaded by the unauthorized party.

The investigation is ongoing, but both personal and protected health patient information may have been compromised in the data breach. Southern Immediate Care has published a Notice of Data Event on it's website and will be notifying affected individuals.
