What Happened?
On Nov. 12, 2025, SitusAMC discovered an incident that resulted in certain information from its systems being compromised.
The company launched an investigation with the help of third-party experts and notified federal law enforcement authorities. According to the notice, the incident occured occured between Nov. 12 and Nov. 19, 2025, and did not involve encrypting malware and services remained fully operational.
The breach affected corporate data associated with some of SitusAMC’s clients, including accounting records and legal agreements. Additionally, certain data relating to some clients’ customers may also have been impacted.

- Corporate data associated with client relationships
- Legal agreements
- Certain data relating to clients’ customers, potentially including:
- Names
- Dates of birth
- Addresses
- Phone numbers
- Social Security and tax ID numbers
- Government-issued ID numbers (e.g. driver's license numbers, passport)
- Financial account information (e.g. bank account number, credit/ debit card number)
The breach has affected 12,701 residents of Texas and 449 of Massachusetts. The total number of individuals affected has not yet been released.
SitusAMC began notifying affected individuals by mail on Nov. 22, 2025. The company has stated it is working closely with clients and law enforcement and will provide direct updates as more information becomes available.
