What happened?
On or about Jan. 29, 2025, Sierra Vista Hospital & Clinics detected suspicious activity within its internal network, resulting in the exposure of sensitive patient data. The unauthorized access took place between Jan. 14, 2025, and Jan. 31, 2025.
A review took place, and it was determined on Aug. 13, 2025, that certain files containing personal and protected health information may have been accessed or obtained. The healthcare organization began notifying affected individuals by mail in Oct. 2025.

The breach was reported to authorities in multiple states. In Texas, 481 residents were affected, while seven were affected in Massachusetts.
