What Happened?

On Nov. 12, 2025, Shingle detected suspicious activity within their computer network.

The company responded by launching an internal investigation, securing their network and engaging a forensic security firm to assist. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party accessed the network and may have acquired certain files on Nov. 12, 2025.

After reviewing the affected files, Shingle determined on Feb. 20, 2026, that personal information was involved. The company began notifying affected individuals in writing on March 25, 2026.

A total of 529 people in the United States were affected by this breach, including four in Maine.

So far, the only confirmed type of consumer information exposed is names.
