The hacking group HUNTERS INTERNATIONAL claimed responsibility for the incident and stated they had obtained 2.4 TB of the organization’s data, threatening to publish it on the dark web if their demands were not met.
The company discovered on June 24, 2025, that personal data may have been accessed or acquired without authorization between March 22 and March 24, 2025. Sansone Group began notifying impacted individuals by mail on July 21, 2021.
