What happened?
On June 19, 2025, Risk Management Services discovered a major data breach affecting at least 22,300 individuals. An investigation determined that a cybercriminal gained access to RMS systems through a remote connection, which was possible due to a subcontractor’s failure to follow established security protocols.
The cybersecurity incident compromised both personal and protected health information. The company began notifying affected individuals by mail on Aug. 29, 2025.
