What Happened?

On Feb. 2, 2026, River City Data discovered that an unauthorized actor had accessed its systems. The company took its systems offline and began investigating the incident with the help of external cybersecurity experts.

The investigation revealed that between Nov. 17, 2025, and Jan. 15, 2026, the unauthorized actor obtained data stored on River City Data’s systems.
