What Happened?
On March 3, 2025, Renkim Corporation discovered a data breach that exposed the personal information of thousands of individuals. The breach was disclosed to the Maine Attorney General's office on June 2, 2025, and to the Texas Attorney General's office on June 3, 2025.
Renkim posted a Notice of Data Security Incident on its own website and began notifying affected consumers in writing starting June 2, 2025. According to the disclosures, 46,864 individuals in the United States were affected, including 466 in Texas and 7 in Maine.
