On Feb. 26, 2024, Radiologic Medical Services discovered suspicious activity in an employee email account. A third-party investigation later found that two employee email accounts were hacked between Feb. 22, 2024, and March 19, 2024. During this time, an unauthorized actor may have accessed or obtained sensitive patient information.

According to disclosures, the breach affected 56,902 people in the United States. The healthcare organization first reported the cybersecurity incident to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Nov. 12, 2024.
