What Happened?

On Aug. 14, 2025, Pyramid Global Hospitality discovered a data breach that compromised the personal information of individuals associated with the company. According to reports, the hacking group Worldleaks claimed responsibility for the breach and posted data on the dark web on Sept. 23, 2025.

The company notified affected consumers in writing, with notification letters sent on Oct. 29, 2025, and again on Feb. 25, 2026.

The breach was reported to the Maine Attorney General on Feb. 25, 2026.

Information Exposed:

  • Names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Driver's license numbers or state identification numbers
  • Other governmental identification numbers
  • Financial account information
  • Health insurance information
  • Medical information

At least 1,299 Maine residents were confirmed to be affected, though the total number of impacted individuals across the United States has not been disclosed.
