On March 2, 2026, the hacking group known as PLAY claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that they had obtained sensitive company data including private and personal confidential data, client documents, budget information, payroll, IDs, taxes, and financial information.The group threatened to publish the information within four days.
The breach was officially disclosed to the Vermont Attorney General on June 9, 2026. According to the current public disclosure, the only information type confirmed to have been compromised is Social Security numbers.
