What happened?
Print Media Association discovered an unauthorized actor gained access to its internal email network between May 1, 2025 and May 5, 2025. An investigation and review took place and it was determined that the data breach compromised personal information of several thousand individuals.
The cybersecurity incident was disclosed to multiple Attorney Generals' offices beginning on Sept. 10, 2025, including Maine, Massachusetts, Texas and Vermont. Print Media Association began notifying affected individuals by mail on Sept. 10, 2025.

Affected individuals includes 3,085 Texas residents, 258 in Massachusetts and two in Maine.
