What happened?
On or around May 15, 2025, Pollard & Associates experienced suspicious activity on its network. An investigation revealed that certain files were copied without authorization on or around April 8, 2025. By July 15, 2025, the review was complete and it was determined that personally identifiable information (PII) of 17,907 individuals was compromised.
The firm began notifying impacted individuals by mail on Sept. 16, 2025.

The data breach was also disclosed to the Maine and Montana Attorney Generals' offices on Sept. 16, 2025 and the Vermont Attorney General's office on Sept. 17, 2025.
