Pennsylvania Hospitalist Group was impacted by a data breach involving patient files maintained by ApolloMD Business Services. On May 22, 2025, ApolloMD detected suspicious activity in its IT network. An investigation determined that a cybercriminal accessed ApolloMD’s systems between May 22 and May 23, 2025.
The cyberattack compromised both personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI). Impacted patients were notified by mail on Sept. 17, 2025.
