What Happened?

Passco Companies discovered suspicious activity on its systems in 2025.

After taking steps to secure their network, they launched an investigation with the help of third-party cybersecurity specialists. The investigation revealed that unauthorized access occurred on Aug. 7, 2025, and that certain sensitive information was taken from their environment.

Information Exposed:

  • Names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Driver’s license or state identification numbers
  • Financial account information

On Dec. 16, 2025, Passco confirmed that personal information had been compromised. Written notifications began going out to affected individuals in April and June 2026.

A total of 8,335 people in the United States were affected, including residents of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.
