What Happened?
OSI Systems discovered suspicious activity on its network on Dec. 25, 2025.
The company secured its systems and launched an investigation with the help of third-party forensic specialists. The investigation revealed that certain files were accessed without authorization on Dec. 23, 2025.
After a comprehensive review, OSI Systems determined that sensitive information belonging to thousands of individuals was potentially exposed.
The company completed its review on Feb. 10, 2026, and began notifying affected individuals in writing starting March 11, 2026.
According to official disclosures, a total of 4,910 people in the United States were impacted, including 386 residents in Texas and seven in Maine.
Additionally, a ransomware group known as INC RANSOM claimed responsibility for the attack and posted about the breach on the dark web on Dec. 30, 2025, stating that 250GB of confidential company and client data had been stolen.
