What Happened?
In August 2015, Open Arms Care detected unusual activity involving an email account and immediately launched an investigation with independent experts. The investigation revealed that certain email accounts could have been accessed or acquired without authorization between June and August 2015.
The process to determine whose information was involved concluded on April 30, 2026.
On June 9, 2026, Open Arms Care began notifying potentially affected individuals. The incident was limited to information transmitted via email and did not involve other company systems.
Information Exposed:
- Names
- Social Security numbers
- Medical diagnosis/treatment information
- Health insurance information
- Financial account information
Open Arms Care has set up a toll-free call center at 1-833-718-9738 to answer questions about the incident. Representatives are available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central Time.
