What Happened?

On March 23, 2026, OnTrac discovered suspicious activity on a portion of its corporate computer network. A third-party investigation determined that certain files may have been accessed without authorization between March 20 and March 22, 2026.

Notably, this incident is separate and unrelated to the April 2025 data breach, which is in an ongoing consolidated class action litigation.

The company notified the California Attorney General about the breach on July 22, 2026.

At this time, the only confirmed type of personal information confirmed as exposed is names. The company has mailed impacted individuals letters offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services.
