What Happened?
On April 15, 2026, NTN Bearing experienced a ransomware attack carried out by a group known as Payouts King.
The incident was later posted on the dark web on May 13, 2026, where the hackers claimed to have stolen 596 GB of data from the company. The compromised data reportedly included confidential documents, employee personally identifiable information (PII), correspondence, financial records and engineering files. The group threatened to publish the stolen data within days of their posting.
At this time, the company has not confirmed the information types exposed in the breach.
