North Oaks also operates the region’s largest multispecialty provider clinic, three urgent care clinics, three outpatient rehabilitation clinics, two outpatient diagnostic and treatment centers, a hospice, and an extensive physician group offering both primary and specialty care.
What happened?
On June 4, 2025, North Oaks Health System discovered that a cybercriminal had gained access to its employee email network. The breach occurred over a period stretching from May 28, 2025, to June 5, 2025.
According to reports filed with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the incident affected at least 6,243 individuals. North Oaks is notifying affected patients by mail and posted a notice of cybersecurity incident on its website.
