What Happened?
Recently, New Era Technology notified individuals about a data breach involving its healthcare advocacy vendor, Quantum Health. Quantum Health experienced a cybersecurity incident that resulted in unauthorized access to its systems.
According to the notice reviewed by Claim Depot, this breach did not occur within New Era Technology’s own systems, but affected individuals connected to New Era through their relationship with Quantum Health.
Information Exposed:
- Dates of birth
- Social Security numbers
- Other health-related or personal data
Quantum Health engaged Kroll, a risk and identity protection provider, to communicate with and support impacted individuals.
Notification letters were sent by email and included instructions for accessing a secure portal to review the specific information impacted, as well as information about credit monitoring and identity monitoring services.
