What Happened?
On Dec. 30, 2025, New Age Dermatology discovered a cybersecurity incident involving ransomware that impacted their internal server. Upon learning of the breach, the company secured their systems, engaged cybersecurity professionals to investigate and notified law enforcement.
As of now, there is no evidence that the electronic health record system was compromised.
The affected server is currently inoperable and inaccessible, and the investigation has not yet determined what specific information was involved for each individual. However, the types of information potentially exposed include:

- Diagnostic images
- Medical or treatment information
- Names
- Photographs
- Social security numbers
In total, 8,387 people in the United States were affected, including 29 in Massachusetts.
