What Happened?

Walters-Morgan experienced a ransomware attack by a group known as Sinobi.

On Aug. 20, 2025, Sinobi claimed responsibility for the attack and posted about it on the dark web, stating that they had obtained company data.

The breach was later disclosed to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on Feb. 18, 2026. According to the disclosure, the breach affected at least one individual in Massachusetts.

At this time, the only confirmed type of information exposed in this incident is Social security numbers.
