What Happened?
On Sept. 10, 2025, Miami Management detected suspicious activity within its network systems.
The company took steps to secure its systems and brought in cybersecurity specialists to investigate. The investigation determined that an unknown actor accessed certain systems between Sept. 8, 2025, and Oct. 9, 2025, and viewed or copied files containing sensitive information.
The ransomware group known as Sarcoma claimed responsibility for the attack and stated they had obtained 4.9 TB of the organization’s data. On Sept. 22, 2025, Sarcoma revealed the full domain name and samples of 2.4 TB of data on the dark web (tor network), threatening to publish the rest.
Miami Management notified the New Hampshire Attorney General’s office about the breach on Feb. 2, 2026. The company’s notice confirms that at least one New Hampshire resident was affected.
