What Happened?
In July 2024, MEMIC’s business partner, OneGroup NY Inc., discovered suspicious activity in its email environment. An investigation revealed that an employee’s email account was accessed without authorization between May 6, 2024, and May 21, 2024.
A review was conducted and concluded on February 4, 2025 and it was not possible to determine exactly which emails were accessed or viewed by the unauthorized party. Impacted individuals are being notified.
